Again, thank you! I will get the brakes checked again for sure! I hope that solves the problem. Thanks!

Does the metal sound stop when you hit your brakes, it my be bad brakes???

Thank you for responding! The metal sound is only when driving, it stops when I hit the brakes. We replaced the rotors and pads on the front, the back pads are less than a year old. Perhaps we should have them checked again? When the car is "cold" it is quiet. It's only after we've been driving that it starts the noise.

Yes, that is a good idea to get them checked again. Some times a caliper will stick when it starts to get hot...Thanks

So I have a 2002 jeep liberty it bogs at 2500 rpms when gas tank is full and when its empty it drives good what is the issue? I can't figure this out.

Did you try loosening the gas cap? If it behaves differently, never mind the engine light for the moment, but does the performance improve any? If so, replace the gas cap or make certain it is tight after fueling. Let us know if this helps or fixes the issue.

Intermittent starting

Yes. When was the last time you had the starter changed? Has anyone crawled under the vehicle to check for a loose starter? If the starter does not engage it may be the starter solenoid ( the thing that drives the gears into contact before the starter actually turns ). This might not be ramming the gears together properly and that will cause the grinding noise, as well as an intermittent start.

2007 jeep liberty metal on metal loud grinding noice coming from rear end when brakes are pressed. I also think that its starting to happen when driving also but don't know if I am being paranoid on that....

Sounds like you need brakes or there is a rock stuck in between the caliper and backing plate.

Seel Immediate repairs before you loose your brakes alltogether.

it could be a bad connection in the wiring, a loose wire or loose fuse the AC switch could also be faulty, check the connector plugs to make sure they are pushed together, it is a process of elimination,to find the fault,it could also be a faulty AC clutch....hope this helps......cheers

2002 Jeep Liberty: Battery cable loose wire was

first, though you mentioned no oil leaking, is there oil in the engine?
Next, if engine runs well and is not ticking or tapping, have the codes checked...most larger parts stores do this free. Once you have the stored codes you can look up what system is malfunctioning.
If engine is making any noise at all or there is no oil in it, DO NOT START OR DRIVE IT...make sure whoever did the oil change knows about this now...If someone forgot to put oil in, they may be buying you a new engine!
At this point it may be something simple but can also be very serious.(hope not)
good luck

Oil Pan is completely loose, unbolted and no seals holiding it inh place. What would cause it to not drop down away from belly of jeep?

The oil pump baffle inside the pan, it is a sheet metal box around the oil pump so when you trun the pump always has oil around it.
