Question about 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
The most common problem with these heated seats and all heated seats is the actual heater grid in the seat... it is basically like a heating pad that you have in your house except thinner and smaller, these grids usually will shot out causing the syptom that you stated the seat will seem to get really hot and then just quit working all together if you disconnect the connector for the heater grid and it has power and ground than the grid is bad the connector is usually a two pin connector under the seat.... What ever you do do not unplug any Yellow connectors as they are for the air bag system... If you need more information let me know i will be happy to help
