sound like the o rings are worn out on fuel rail when you pull the rail out slightly you are pinching the bad O ring making a seal car is starting. I would replace all O rings check fuel injector seals too, any and all vacuum lines and the seal on the fuel regulator especially if it is connected to the fuel rail.
also check and see if you are moving a wire connections when moving the fuel rail possible loose connection.

I have a plymouth grand voyager 1998 engine 3.8, it is a pipe right over the engine wich is leaking fuel

That sounds like the fuel rail the top of the injectors have O-rings that seals the fuel rail were the injector goes in it if one has gone bad it will leak fuel from around the injector. Hope this helped.

Where is the fuel tank pressure sensor located in a 1998 Buick Regal Supercharged?

I believe that I can help you.

Go to your throttle body.
  • A large diameter fuel rail is attached to the top of the intake manifold and supplies fuel to all of the injectors.
  • A fuel pressure cap is located on the rail for quick pressure checks,
  • The electric fuel pump is attached to the fuel sender assembly in the fuel tank. It pumps fuel constantly from the tank, through the fuel rail on to the engine and back to the tank.
  • The fuel pressure regulator that is mounted on the fuel rail maintains pressure across the injectors under all operating conditions.
Unfortunately, my scanner is inoperative and I cannot provide you with a diagram

Where is the fuel pressure regulator located on a 1998 chevy k1500 4.3 vortec THANKS

It under the plastic upper intake plenum connected to the CFI assembly.

Fuel Pressure RegulatorREMOVAL & INSTALLATION
(see Figure 1)
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Relieve fuel system pressure.
  3. Disconnect the ignition coil.
  4. Remove the upper intake manifold.
  5. Disconnect the vacuum line to the regulator.
  6. Remove the snapring from the regulator housing.
  7. Place a towel under the regulator to absorb any spilled fuel and remove the pressure regulator from the fuel rail socket.
  8. Remove the pressure regulator from the fuel rail.
  9. Remove the pressure regulator O-ring filter, O-ring backup and O-ring and discard them.

Fig. 1: Exploded view of the pressure regulator assembly-MFI systems

To install:
  1. Before installing the O-rings, lubricate them with clean engine oil and install them on the regulator inlet as a complete assembly.
  2. Install the snapring retainer into the slot on the regulator housing.
  3. Connect the vacuum line to the regulator.
Ensure that the retainer is properly seated in the slot in the regulator housing. Pull on the regulator to make sure that it is properly seated.
  1. Connect the negative battery cable.
  2. Turn the ignition ON for 2 seconds and then turn it OFF for 10 seconds. Again turn the ignition ON and check for leaks.
  3. Install the manifold plenum.

Good luck; TY for using Fixya (remember rated this post)

How to change a 94 gmc jimmy fuel injector spyder on a 4.3 vortec. What all do you have to take off to get to the spyder?

You have to take everything of of the plennum and then remove the plennum its self and there she is make sure you have the plennum gasket ( GM part # 10105939 or 032700) ready for when you are done replacing the spyder. GM actually upgraded the spyder set up beacuse it was a faulty set up. Hope this of some assistance to you!

You need to relieve the fuel pressure, Gain access to the fuel rail, should be 4 or 5 bolts holding the fuel rail on... once you accessed and removed the fasteners, carefully pull up on the railon aboth sides.. a little wd may help release the injector seals, and you definitely wanna replace the lower o-rings... be careful liining the injectors up when u install the rail

1998 mercury grand marquis 4.6 sparkplug change

un-plug the coil packs--injectors--pull wiring out of the way,and then unbolt the coil packs and pull them out,and use a 6 inch to 8 inch extension on a 3/8 drive rachet with a 5/8 plug socket...snug the plugs back in pretty good because the 4.6 and 5.4 are known to blow the plugs out and wreck the threads on the head.On the drivers side you may have to unbolt the fuel rail(2 bolts)and lift it up off from the injectors, make sure that you dont tear the 0 rings on the injectors and watch to see if some or any 0 rings comes off from the injectors and stays with the fuel rail..when putting the fuel rail back on the injectors, use a little motor oil and wipe it on all 0 rings to assist in going back together without tearing the 0 rings.

Nope - pretty much every system I've seen requires removal of the rail and all injectors as a unit, and then individual disassembly of the injectors. Honestly, with an 11-model-year-old car, if you're going to remove that injector (which, by your other post, you don't have a choice), it's worth the time and relatively low cost to replace all of your O-rings for peace of mind. You can soak the rail and injectors with penetrating oil to help free them up, and then clean and dry the rail and ring seating surfaces before installing the new O rings and injectors. You're going to enough trouble as it is - might as well be thorough and handle any future fuel leakage now before it's an issue and requires another removal of the rail.
