If you go to autozone to buy the sensor and it does not show around your engine means it might be where the timing belt area of your car. I have a daewoo that needed the same thing done to it too. you can also ask autozone they might know as well.

Humming noise at 80kph at rear, would worn spring bushes cause this

unlikely--- humming noise is from a vibration caused by failing drive line joints , bearing failures, out of balance drive shafts , failing rear engine mounts, worn slip joints, worn output shaft bush in the transmission housing
it can also be from bad tyres or tyres with a regular tyre pattern in the tread
To understand this you have to closely inspect the tread pattern of tyres and you will see that the pattern is not consistent around the tyre as that consistency is what gives a noise ( example is the old bar tread tyre and the road hum that was produced on hard surface roads)

How to reset check engine light warning

normally to reset a check engine light all you have to do is unhook the battery for a couple of minutes and then hook it back up. if you are having a sensor problem though this check engine light will come back on after you drive the vehicle for more than 3 minutes.

Have you ever replaced the timing belt?? If not the problem is likely to be a loose worn out timing belt. A floppy belt will play havoc with the sensor signals and trigger a check engine light and a camshaft sensor code.

Whining engine noise

If the noise increases when idling and reving up the engine then you must check on the engine pulley, the belt idler pulley, the water pump , alternator or the a/c. But if the noise increases when you are moving then you must check on the wheel bearings, the drive shafts and the inspection of the mudguards for tyre rubbing. If so you will have to jack up the car and check for faulty bearings, drives or tyres. SInce the noise can be traced to the point of generation , you will have to have a friend also to check on one side for pinpointing the sound and identifying the part. This must be easier to find and you can easily replace/repair/change the part concerned. Hope you try. Good day

2004 Honda CRV Check Engine light

the check engine lamp is not affected by things like tyres, brakes etc. It shows that the vehicles engine management system had detected a fault with the engine or engine sensors. Check the engine for broken or disconnected wiring (maybe it was disconnected during the replacing of the hoses but not reconnected). If you fail to locate anything, check the manual for the correct fault code retrieval procedure or take the vehicle to a professional. Tyres may affect your ABS system or Airbag systems but they usually have their own warning lamp and are unrelated to the check engine lamp..

Blinking Check Engine light

This is typically a sign of a "detrimental misfire". A blinking check engine light means DON'T DRIVE ME! You may want to have your coil pack checked, plugs replaced or gapped properly, or wires replaced. Would also have to do with the camshaft sensor causing your timing to be off.
