So you had to tap it to start before, now it wont start even with a tap. ?
The starter was bad, now is worse. (Usually this tap on it solution means the armature is warped. [main shaft] Could ONLY get worse)
You can whack it real good to maybe start it once or twice more, but you do need to replace the starter !

My lights all work but wont turn over. It just makes a click. What is the deal? For being GMs finest luxury line. They sure have a lot to learn from the Germans.

If the battery is fully charged and the starter just clicks, it could be an internal starter problem Try tapping on the starter with a blunt object ( hammer ) while trying to crank the engine. If it starts then the starter motor is getting bad. If still just clicking, check battery cables for tightness and engine ground wires

I am failing to start my Toyota 2ct with ignition but only start on push

cHECK THE STARTER, IS BATTERY FULLY CHARGED. The fact that it starts with a push suggests that the battery or starter is at fault.
Is the alternator charging the battery? When fully charged does the starter crank over quickly.
If the engine runs fine then it is almost certainly one of the above

2003 trailblazer has new battery, but will not crank but all dash lights come on

Check the starter, check the cable that goes from the battery to the starter. make sure its tight and not loose. take a hammer and tap on the starter. If the vehicle still doesn't start. Change the starter.

2005 Cadillac CTS tried to crank my car all it will do is one click i took the battery to go get tested and it was 12.3 amps they said it tested fine. So i put the battery back in and same issue 1 click i...

12.3 amps is a bad battery , 500 amps is good, but you meant volts
sure. (by the way sir your battery is discharged, gets forgot?)

12.3 volts rested is a discharged, state ambient temp and can tell by how much using SOC tables.
try jumper cables, try a fully charged battery, 12.6v is fully charged at room temp, rested. barrow a charged battery for friends car.

State of charge.. at room temp.12.3 is 50% charged,
the shops dont tell you that, just GOOD battery, bad,
its your job to charge, it
then when cars starts, the alternator takes over, 100%

the reason you are not going good ,is because no voltmeter in hand. For SURE.
guessing dont work here, only tests and measurements.

1; can you try turning the cars crankshaft by hand.?
siezed, bingo
2: can you hot wire the soleniod small pin to the outside big pin
like here,
http://www.fixkick.com/nocrank.html#test1
if the battery is weak, this test is useless. on all cars.
if it works then the key line is dead
if not the battery ,or cables or starter is bad.
there are 3 parts to a starter,
i repeat, the battery (charged) the cables and the starter.
engine turns by hand. yes.
those are all facts.
another tack.
voltmeter across battery lugs.
crank 0v bad battery or shorted or siezed motor.
12v, starter dead open circuit.
10v typical with fast cranking.
you can see this in 2 dimensions. here.
time is the horizontal axis.

It not the battery its fully charged so what else ca it be ?

I just read the first post of the problem and i would say it sounds like you may have a bad starter, test the starter, you will need a testlight, you also said the battery tests good and is fully charged, the battery connections are good and tight . now move to the starter, at the rear of the starter you will find two wires. one is the size of a battery cable and should have power at all times, then on the other connection on the starter is a small wire, this is the wire you will need to test. you will need someone inside the car, have them crank and hold the key in the start postion while you test the small wire to see if it has power. if that wire has power with the key in the crank postion then the starter is bad, try tapping on the starter with a small hammer, tap lightly and sometimes that will cause the starter to make internal connection and start but also means the starter is bad. good luck and have a good day.

The Buick's engine does not crank when I try to start it. There is a clicking sound when I try to start it, but the engine doesn't turn over. What Do You Think?

The starter is bad or the battery is dead. If the battery is fully charged then the starter needs replaced. The solenoid inside of it is clicking

Wont start just clicks

is the battery fully charged? will it jump start/ if the battery is good and it wont jump start. It sounds like a bad starter, sometimes on a GM auto you can tap the starter housing with a hammer and get it to start if this works you will need to get a new starter. Note tap the starter dont beat on it.

I have had problems with truck starting

When it wont crank, tap on the starter with a hammer, wrench ect. if it starts then, most likely need the starter replaced. If it grunts, its getting power. Make sure the battery is good. to check, take a voltage reading should be 12.7 volts on a fully charged battery, take a reading when starting, should not go below 10volts.

I replaced my solenoid, but now it's slow to crank and I have to tap it with a wrench to get it to disengage.Does that mean my starter is shot?

no
that does not mean the starter is shot.
the only way the start can be energized is by the relay. if you have to tap it now or its doing other things than it was doing before or not fixed the problem then it was either installed wrong or the part is faulty.
make sure that both conections on the battery terminals are good clean tight and free from degrigation.if you want to check the starter disconnect the starter wire form the relay and use jumper cables to run the starter wire right to the battery the verify the starter is cranking good.
make sure the battery is fully charged.
