Question about Ford E-150
I'm assuming you're running a pre-80's Ford here. The running lights were designed only to come on in the halfway position, just like on my '59 Chevy (http://www.stovebolt.com/techtips/electrical/lights/runninglights.html As proof, unless My Ford-Chevy knowledge is off). To turn the parklights to running lights, you will have to "tap in" to the headlamps wire.
