i have replaced the normal fuel pump and injectors, but this is a diesel and it also has a fuel injector pump as well. this is the 7.3 IDI (non turbo). my gaskets are all new. and my heads are also new. is there a way to test the injector pump on the truck. it cost about 300 to have it tested and i cant afford to pay this and then buy a new one($1000). any other solutions you may have would be helpful. Thank You again.

If the fuel pressure is low, then the fuel pump and fuel filter has to be replaced.Due to low pressure the exact required fuel will not flow to the engine, and there will be problem noticed in driving, like hard start, rough driving, ****, stalling. --------------- And for white smoke problem:---- white smoke from exhaust, it is usually an indication that something is burning.
Oil, transmission fluid and antifreeze are the three fluids most likely to be the cause of white smoke coming from your exhaust. Ruptured seals, leaky bolts and blown gaskets can expose oil to hot spots, making it burn. Pinholes or loose lines can cause antifreeze to spray on the engine, while transmission fluid can be sucked into the engine and burn.So check all the three fluids, the oil, the transmission fluid and antifreeze, any of the one is leaking and causing white smoke.
------------- This will help.thanks.Helpmech.

My Blazer blows white smoke out from the underneath or exhaust. Not sure cause it only does it after I've been driving it for about 15 minutes. And it's not constant either.

Sometimes the A/C drips water condensate onto hot exhaust pipes and you will see steam. Depends on outside humidity, whether you are using the A/C, and evaporation.

White smoke from exhaust can be a sign of a water leak in the block. You will get some vapor depending on outside air temps and moisture in the fuel. The new Ethanol mix attracts moisture more than the old gas did.

You can benefit from a pressure test of the cooling system. Under normal conditions, it takes awhile for pressure to build in the radiator. This would coincide with the 15 minutes you mention for your problem to begin.

White smoke blowing out the exhaust pipe

Sounds like a head gasket leak. Have a cooling system pressure test and cylinder leakdown test performed. In the meantime, you should NOT drive this vehicle or you'll cause more damage.

Sounds like a bad coil pack 1 and 3,if you change it and it's no help, see if you can find the vacuum hose that goes to the fuel pressure regulator, ,if there if fuel in the hose ,it's bad

My truck is blowing white smoke out the tail pipe and I have no power wont go but I can idle around its a 2055 f250 turbo diesel, 300000 kms...litterally just started doing this a couple days ago..now ...

White smoke for a diesel means air in the fuel system. You will have to start at the engine, I start at the line going to the fuel pump. Get some fuel in a can, remove the line to the supply side of the pump and put another line from the can to the pump. If it starts and doesn't smoke , then you have to work your way back to the tank and find the spot that is sucking air. If it doesn't start the I would replace the filter first, check again. There is a possibility that the injector pump is bad, but these don't usually throw white smoke. They just make the engine have very little power or no start.

I need to put on my cylynder head gasket seal and my vehicle is blowing out white smoke.is my problem my seal or something else?

in general when car smokes ( white ) it burns the engine lubricating oil this because the sealing rings ( triple for each piston ) not doing their job any more or for another reason the cylinder wall itself due to the continuous friction between wall and seal o rings it creates a very Little gap that allows the oil to enter the combustion chamber and mixed then burned with fuel generating that white smoke and decreasing engine pressure
you will have to replace the cylinder head gasket since you are going to reveal the head to get into the pistons seal o rings
if the cylinder walls got little wider due to friction don`t panic you will get lager seal o rings to skip such a problem

Mazda bravo blowing white smoke

blowing white smoke is almost always a symptom of an engine coolant leak at the cylinder head gasket. remove each spark plug and look for a dis-colored plug to find which cylinder is leaking.
