Question about 2002 Chrysler Sebring

What kind of engine oil for a 2002 chry sebring 2.7 t hanks

Posted by on

1 Answer

What kind --as in regular mineral or synthetic,
doesn't matter

What weight oil -- as 5W-30-- that is my guess
for your car

You need an owners manual for that kind
of info
You should see that on the oil fill cap
or other labels under the hood.

Here is my question?
What have you been using, since you asked?
Do you really know what has gone into your vehicles,
when you pay to have it done ??

Engine knocking and oil lampe illuminated during idle

Change oil and filter. Use a synthetic blend oil, add 1/2 pint of marvel mystery oil, and drive for a short time, 30 minutes or so. If knock continues, the damage is already happened. Use only synthetic blend or synthetic oil in the 2.7 litre engine.
