Question about 1997 Toyota Camry

I have a 97 toyota camry 2.2, will not shift into overdrive.\r\ncode for the problem is PO755 B, where is this solenoid located. Transmission is A140E

Solenoids on this vehicle transmission is located inside the transmission. You must drain the transmission oil, then remove the transmission oil pan to access it.

check your shift solenoid (A-B-C-D), i have the same problem. OBD PO700 (Transmission Control System) , PO750 (A), PO755 (B), PO60 (C), PO765 (D). i hope this helps.

1995 toyota transmission solenoid


Some of these solenoids are supplied in pairs, or more than one off the same connector. This is true at least of the no 1 and 2 shift solenoids. This may have some useful info, p102

Po755 code say that there is problem with transfmisson shifting what does that mean.


its defined as "shift solenoid B malfunction" so you need to be checking the shift solenoids for correct operation or if internal to the gearbox then gearbox repair or replacement is necessary. hope this helps

Where is the transmission shift solenoid


all of the shift solenoids are located inside the transmission attached to the transmission valve body, to access these you need to remove the pan from the transmission.
