Question about 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer
1. fuel line and return line (front of the tank).
2.two electric connectors (top of the tank).
3.filler pipe (rear of the tank)
4.vent line (small) (rear of the tank just above the filler pipe)
5.vent valve (make sure to connect electric connector and vent line with large white connector)
Before you work on fuel tanks remove fuel pump relay #8 under the hood. Start it and let it stall, then unhook the negative terminal on the battery.
Remove the 2 gas tank braces on the bottom. Siphon gas through the filler pipe, can't do it through the filler neck, so it's not so heavy.

Their are two fuel line at the front of the tank one is the fuel feed and the other is the return line! Now the ones at the back of the tank are for emission you don't want to break or damage those make sure you disconnect all of those line and the is a red connector also at the rear of the top of the tank make sure you disconnect that. And just make sure careful when remove fuel pump it has a tight fit coming out also when your done make sure all your hoses and lines are reconnected and the red ont too! GOOD LUCK !

The fuel pump strainer must be in a horizontal position when the fuel sender is installed in the tank. When installing the sender assembly, make sure that the fuel pump strainer does not block full travel of the float arm.
