Question about 2000 Volkswagen Jetta TDI
I may be wrong but I think it can only be done via the on-board diagnostics system.
You could either go to a VW dealer, or if you are technically minded you could buy a £15 interface cable, download some free "VAG diagnostic software" and run it on a portable computer.
On some models the reminder can be reset using the buttons on the dashboard, but none of my cars have been that new!
