Then replace the Engine Control Module (ECM) because the ignition advance checks are ECM Controlled.

Firing order: 1 - 5 - 3 - 6 - 2 - 4

The ECM is located at the bottom right side of the windshield. See picture below:

How do I fix a no start problem with my mini van ?

You may need a shop manual for this. The coils get power from the ASD relay and the key switch. The engine computer grounds the coils to make them fire. Those circuits and the crank sensor would need to be tested.

I have a jaguar xj6 3.2 liter engine that hasnt been used for like 3 - 4 years. I just recently changed the battery and would not start it cranks but does not want to start. What do you think is wrong...

The fuel has definately gone bad. The new fuels they are refining do not stay as long as the old gasoline. You will need to drain the tank and refill with fresh fuel. Once you do that, remove the sparkplugs, remove the coil wire ( to prevent a fire ) and crank the engine for about 10 seconds. Replace the spark plugs and it should fire right off after that. Let me know if you need anything else.
