Go to a Ford Dealer parts desk. That fellow can copy you a page out of his IPB and you will have the part numbers, the prices, and the time to install. Dealer parts on vehicles more than 10 years old are very hard to find. He may give you some suggestions on generic replacements from local parts stores.

Why brake not working even after installing new master cyliner?

the brake system has to be led after fitting a new master cylinder . start at the longest line and work back to the shortest. Have a mate help by pumping the pedal a few times and holding down while you open the bleed nipple . close of and re-pump and hold down while you again open the nipple .
continue the exercise until there is just fluid coming out of the nipple. close of and move to the next wheel and repeat exercise.

Cannot get a brake pedal after installing a new master cylinder? i have bleed Everything all wheels! CVracked all lines to expell air also!! Can u help PLEASE!!! OH 1988 forerunner 4x4 carbureter model...

troubleshoot the master cylinder first , you need some one to pump the pedal. open a brake line at the master cylinder with the line open put your finger on the open port . with all the stregth you have and the might you got have him pump on the pedal and your finger blocking the open port on the master cylinder, did squirt fluid out and you could not stop it, then that portion of the master cylinder is good, now do the next port if you can hold pressure then the master cylinder is non op, you need another one, Okay that is to test the master cylinder, If master cyliner is okay HERE IS THE FIX the reason you cant get a pedal is because you are a 4x4 the wheels must be on the ground,if the wheels are not on the ground there is a cut off valve on the rear differntial that will not allow fluid to pass out to the rear cyclinder put the tires on, block the wheels and someone there helping and looking after you and bleed the system remeber four wheels on the ground , by the way do you see the differntial lever that shut off fluid when wheels are not touching ground all 4X4 has this safety feature it so you dont lock the wheels when you fly in the air

I need the line that goes between the master cylinder and slave cylinder for my 1992 jeep wrangler and cannot find the part anywhere..any ideas?????

any parts store will have steel and flex hoses of differing lengths and sizes hanging on the wall for brake and clutch lines. you need someone to measure, make, and bend the line and install it for you.
takes a tool to flare the ends and bend without crimping

Need to know replacement time for a chevy 1500 master cylinder for brake system

This depends on the condition of the vehicle and corrosion amounts in your atmosphere, like salted road in winter, coastal climate, etc. Typically Chevy used a type of road tar to seal the old booster to the firewall and these are difficult to remove - I've used a 4 foot section of 2x4 to have leverage and not damage the booster or firewall. The brake system does not need to be opened so the master can be removed and flexed out of the way for space to do the booster - usually. On some models(depending on your climate) the lines are hardened and do not flex well at all, so the lines have to be removed, then the master, then the booster.. A flexible lined system should be about 1 1/2 hours and the non flex lines should be about 3, including bleeding the master and wheel cylinders and the calipers. Hope this helps and thanks for using Fixya!!

I have good fluid pressure coming out of the master and going to the pump. i have no pressure coming out of one rear line at the pump.

there is an equalizer valve just below the master cyliner ,try tapping it with both the brake pedals pushed and released.it need to center before you will get pressure.

1996 honda accord front brakes freezing up, got new everything caliper, master cylin, booster, and brakes.

The most common cause would be a defective brake line. The inner lining deteriorates and acts like a one way valve, and won't allow fluid to return.

No fluid come out when bleeding brakes drivers side front

Brake rubber flex line could be collapsed,,or kinked,,,i suggest loosening of the line at the master cylinder distribution block (this will give you the ability of loosening off one line at a time,,and have some one push the brake pedal down,,if you see fluid at this point then you know it has to be the line or the caliper.
if you get no pressure from the distribution block then its the master cylinders fault
