Unfortunately, lots of moisture and junk can get up there and kill the bulb. Remove the bulb, inspect it, inspect the connections. Make sure there is no rust and junk in there. If one bulb is working and the other is not, replace the bulb. Believe me, I have seen stranger things happen... but with one working it is not the relay or the fuse.

Thx for the response! I replace the bulb and still not working. I had the working bulb swap to it and and still won't power up. Maybe I had **** the wiring when i tried replacing the bulb due to tight space.

4114 and 4114LL (Long Life) is a dual filament bulb and can easily be placed in backwards... I highly doubt you broke the wiring so.... take a look at the bulb. It has silver wires on both sides (1 for high filament and one for low filament. Turn it around and put it back in and see if it works.

If you have and know how to use a volt meter / multi-meter, let me know and I can walk you through how to use it and test if the wiring is ok.

04 Hummer H2 break lights and cruise control went out at the same time. I replaced bulbs, fuses, and break light switch. Top break bar still works. Any opinions?

Did you use a test light to check for voltage at the brake fuse circuit. You have two brake fuses. The second one is in ip fuse block, The voltage, for that one, goes hot when you step on the brake.

2005 Hummer H2 SUV - Rear bumper light socket

Hello, If the socket is not broken and the metal contacts are not melted, you should be able to reuse the socket. It just got scorched from the bulb reaching 1000 degrees in a fraction of a second. The Tungsten coil inside takes a lot of heat to burn it up. If you can scrape the char off of the contacts and install a new bulb, every thing should work perfectly. I see these sockets charred like this all of the time, even with a good bulb. If the socket is deformed, you can usually go to any parts store and ask them if they can find you one of these sockets. Most of the parts stores have books loaded with aftermarket companies that deal with just this type of scenario. I hope this info helps...

I just got my 2007 hummer h2 sut, but I don't know how to turn on

The fog lights run by default during the day in the "auto" position. To activate the headlights and the fog lights you need modify the jumper position in the fuse box for the lights. "see fuse box diagram"

2004 Hummer H2 leaking water on passenger floor

never worked on a hummer but rule of the day is that there always is a drain on the firewall on the engine side. usually a small rubber hose about two inches long direced downward. Usually you can stick your finger in there and clear it out. Don't shove anything hard into it or you can punch a hole in the evaporator core.

Hummer h2

light green most likely, the easiest way to find out is pop out one of your taillights quick and have somebody sit in the vehicle with the key on and put it in reverse then probe the wires coming off your reverse bulb socket with a test lamp until you find power, this way you know which wire for sure. Thanks for using fixya!!

Headlight replacement

Open the hood, Turn the twist lock sleeve the surrounds the wiring harness end and pull out bulb holder. Pull out old bulb, press new bulb tab into slot, replace unit back into light housing, turn twist lock sleeve to secure to housing.

Dont touch the new bulb with your bare fingers.

Skin oils can heat up on the bulb and cause it to fail.
