Why does my 1994 Olds Delta 88 loose power and surge at higher rpm? I checked electrical system, cooling system, and everything is working ok.

Does it especially lose power going up hill??? Check your exhaust system...you might have a collapsed catalytic converter.

1999 Dodge Ram van 1500 no pick up power

I had a similiar problem on my 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 Conversion Van. It ended up being a partial collapse of the catalytic converter which didn't allow adequate exhaust. The problem only showed itself because I could not get over 55 mph going up a small hill.

If fuel filter isn't on the frame near the l/r wheel it's on top of the fuel sending unit on the tank.
