Yes it affects the ABS as they are really the same system. You need the system scanned for fault codes with a GM Tech2 scan tool.

Suburban towing package fuse box location

2005 Suburban Z71 4WD I had similar situation. No 12 volt positive to 7 trailer. Under my hood at the fuse panel, the red 12v + wire was connected to Stud # 1 which is on the left side of fuse box. There is a square fuse right next to this stud. I put a 40 amp fuse in it. I use this power to charge a battery in a trailer as I am hauling.

2005 GMC Sierra: key goes into ignition key buzzer sounds but switch will not turn to "start" or "run" position.

key maybe worn down.. I suggest you take ownership to dealer and they will cut you a brand new key from your VIN. This will eliminate any key issues. most of the time the will work perfect. if not then the cylinder has problems with it and will need service by a locksmith. the dealer will charge to much for this service, so find a automotive locksmith to help.

If the pulley bearing is indeed bad it would be difficult to give you an opinion about it's longevity without physically checking it. I would be reluctant to recommend driving 400 miles without getting an opinion from local technician.

my 05 has 107,000 and is doing the exact same thing. I did turn interior light button off, so the lights wont turn on. It only seems to happen after a wet weather period, which leads me to believe there is some sort of leak. Still can't fix it though.

Our service airbag light came on in our 2005 chevy suburban 1500

Hello and welcome. this light comes on to warn you that there is a problem with the air bag system. when this light comes on, the air bag control module will store a trouble code, this code is used to help isolate the problem. what you will need to do first, is have the air bag system scanned for trouble codes. then a repair can be made on the system

Gauges in the instrument panel (IPC) are electronically controlled by it - changing the battery may have damaged it. Try resetting the IPC by removing the negative battery cable for 15 minutes, and then reconnecting it. Otherwise, you may have to replace the IPC.

If you mean dash says Service 4WD you need to take it to the Dealer or a highly trained shop to have it hooked to a diagnostic computer to check the 4 WD system.
