Sounds like it could be a wheel bearing to me.Does it sound like that when you turn in either direction?

A loud metal to metal clanging noise in the front of the car

Are you sure the struts and strut bearings are installed correctly and all fasteners are tight? Did you check your stabilizer links? Did you check your stabilizer frame bushings? Did you check your tie rod ends? Did you check the lower ball joints? Did you check the control arm bushings? Did you check for loose or missing brake caliper bolts?

I am sure that a thorough inspecton of the front steering and suspension system will turn up something. However, it is really hard to accurately guess from this end without more to go on than just a "metal clanging noise"....there are way too many things that can fit that desription.

My break pads and roters are good....but once in a blue moon while driveing i hear a load knocking or rubbing of metal around the driver area around the wheel well, followed by a very loud screeching/metal...

perhaps a stone has lodged in the brake caliper, or the bolts holding the caliper are loose, also check wheel bearing, and wheel lugs, either way it shouldnt make that noise and will need someone to look at it, it should be easy to see what is scraping

Just had left/right struts replaced and now I hear this loud knocking noise (like something jumping around in the trunk) when I go over bumps or make a turn. What causes this?

Possible bushings (sway bar and suspension) if struts check out. Alot of times when you replace struts it amplifies existing worn bushings. Have struts rechecked and have bushings inspected.

I have a front end squeal everytime I turn to the left. Also sometimes when I am driving or turning to the right.

either the strut plate bearing is bad on top of the struts or the ball joints on the bottom are bad

Loud noise in rear of car. sounds like a loose 2003 ford taurus

it is quite possible that you have a bad strut mount, noticeable by rubber moving from metal, or a leaking strut, looking at the strut you would see hydraulic fluid on it. also sometimes removal and disassembly is the only way to tell. also you could check for bad sway bar links or bushings. hope this helps

It began when I made left hand turns, there would be a vibration in the truck, like the tire was rubbing in the wheel well. Two days later I made a left hand turn and a noise of metal on metal grinding...

Sounds like a wheel bearing, and or a bad brake pad. Decide which wheel you think it is and pull that wheel to look at at the brake shoes or pads. feel for roughness when you turn the wheel by hand.

I have a 95 cadillac deville and everytime i turn left it squeaks or turns off and when i press the brakes i hear something rubbing

Hello, sounds like you need to check the condition of the brakes on your vehicle. Many times the outboard pad(closest to the wheel)will look ok but the inboard pad will be down to the metal. Check front and rear. I suspect the squeak you are hearing is the warning tab on the brake pad telling you its time for pad replacement. Hope this information was useful to you! Have a great day!
