Cannot turn self ajuster on 2001 dodge dakota to remove drum

You will need to push the locking arm out of the way, it is a paddle that keeps the adjuster from moving in the reverse direction. Shine a pin light in there to see it and try to push it back

First, make sure your battery is not dead or weak. A simple Multimeter can test your car battery.

Clean your battery cable connections at the battery and starter. Also clean where the cables connect to the battery. Cleaning means to take a wire brush or sand paper to get rid of rust/corrosion.

If the above does not remedy it, I would have your starter and starter solenoid tested for free at your local auto parts store.

1995 Dodge Dakota> Removing door panel. Can't remove Window knob.. have to replace locks(both sides)....easiest steps to replacing the locks??

Their are two options on removing the door crank-one the base of the crank top comes off where it is connected to the panel and if you pry slight with a thin tool it will expose where you can remove with either a torx or a nut driver-second option you must slip in door panel clip removal tool to relase the spring clip-these fly if you don't keep be careful. clip tools are at most auto parts store-by slighty spreading the door crank look down and you will see spring clip.Note it's either nut removal or spring removal.

Power door locks continusly lock and unlock

Sounds like the electrical relay that controls the locks. Trace the clicking sound and that may be where you have a bank or relays and fuses which control different functions of the car. The relays just pull our of there sockets and are easily relpaced. Once you have identified the suspect on you may find there are other relays with the same part number adjacent. If this is the case you can try swapping two identical ones and see if this solves the problem. Mark the relays first so you dont mix up a potentially bad relay.

How do i take off the shift knob in my 1999 dodge dakota?

There is a nut that you have to loosten on the the shifter below the knob. pull the rubber boot down and you should see it. If not put a rag over the knob before using channel locks

Remove the shift knob in a 1999 dodge dakota

The shift knob on a manual trans should twist off. Sometimes it takes a bunch of force. Are you replacing the knob? Then channel locks will work fine.
