Considering age and symtoms : classic signs of a clogged up fuel filter (fuel starvation) and/or air filter, fairly simple and inexpensive items, which are part of the normal and regular maintainence of every 15 to 25 k miles depending on your driving conditions. if its been a long time since they were changed , they need to be anyway, good place to start, you can do these two things and possibly it might run like new w/ better gas mileage. HOPE SO OK !!
