  • The firing order is actually 1,3,4,2 so you have that right. To make sure the wires are ran right start in the upper right hand "corner" of the distributor and run that wire to cylinder 1. Then going in a leftward rotation on the distributor put the next wire on 3 then 4 and ending on 2. Cylinder 1 is all the way to the left side of the engine while looking at it. (see diagram)
  • Also make sure the plugs are gaped right. Even though they are factory gaped I always check the gap when I buy them. The place you bought the plugs from can tell you the spec gap for the plugs with a quick glance on their computer. A gapper is just $2usd at your local parts store and well worth it.
  • Make sure the distributor cap was put on proper and tight.
  • Check the rotor under the distributor again, if you put a new on in. If you moved it even a click one way or the other it could mess the firing up.

How to put back spark plug wires to a 92 honda accord

the easiest way is to do one at a time when working with plugs or wires.but if you don`t then cylinder 1 is on the end of the motor were the pulleys are then 2,3,4.this i think is a distributer system so the cap is usually marked were cylinder 1`s wire is installed.then you have to see which way the distributer rotates.then the next wire to #1 in the direction the distributer rotates will be the next wire in the firing order.the firing order is 1342.

Nubira 1999 wagon 1.6 ltr ... firing order request.. its not 1342 . can you help

The firing order is 1342. Be sure you have the wires on the distributor cap correctly and that the wire are on the correct spark plugs. #1 cylinder is on the right side of the vehicle. It would be on your left if standing in front of the car.
