Are you talking about the fuel or maybe able to rent the tool from a tool rental store to do this at home,or if you know a friend as a tech ask them if they could check it for you.

Where is map sensor on 2000 oldsmobile silhouette

Keep in mind that OBD Codes-- do not tell you parts
need to be replaced,so when you do & it fixes nothing,
you were told

The ONLY PARTS that get replaced-- are ones that are component
tested-- & fail a test --AND-- were the cause of the problem

Google the question for the location

That is all we can do

This is just an at home chat room

Have 2001 honda oddessey that has 6 cylinders missing plus lack of power when accelerating what is the dianosis?

You won't know that,as you haven't done anything yet

You need to check for codes & then use a scanner, you
won't have at home, to check for cylinder misfires, fuel trim,
fuel pressure,fuel volume,oxygen sensor tests & more

How about a fail or ruined exhaust converter, from all those misfires & no testing, just drive & drive, not work on it

How do you know about the fuel here, I'd suspect you have a defective fuel pump. The pressure should be tested at the test port on the engine injector fuel supply rail, you will need to buy or borrow a special gauge to test the pressure.

Check for damaged pistons, rings and gaskets by pressure testing the cylinders first. Might even be a blocked breather pipe, who knows until you look.

Driving down the highway car starts slowing down, can only go about 5-10 miles an hour, hauled it home, now it won't start Any assistance would be welcomed

It sounds like it is not getting any fuel. A quick test to this is to remove the fuel cap and have someone turn the key on while listening for the fuel pump to run, if you hear it humming you will at least know if the pump is running but it is designed to build pressure and shut off so it will not run for long so this takes 2 people. The next step would be to test the fuel rail pressure as just because fuel pump motor may run doesn't always mean it pumps enough pressure. Try this and let me know how you make out...Thanks!
