Question about 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser
If you remove the oil cap you cam see your camshaft(s) on many vehicles. so remove the oil cap and have someone "bump" the ignition over a few times while you look at the camshaft(s) below the oil cap to see if they are turning. if not your pt jumped time. other possibilities if the cams turn are fuel pump fuel filter coil pack went out relay problems but i would start with the first one i mentioned cause pt's are notorious for that.
