Question about Dodge Caravan
First you need to find out if its a fuel problem or a spark problem?
1-pull off a plug wire put a screw drive in the end of the wire and hold the metal part of the screw driver close to any ground point on motor, have someone crank the engine, it should spark...if not you may have a bad crank position sensor or pick up in the distributor, i've even see a bad coil?
now if there is spark, next you need to check for fuel...depending on what year van you have, you need to disconnect the fuel line or sometimes there is a valve on the fuel rail that looks like a tire valve just push it in with something small, and again let someone crank the engine over for a moment, being careful not to get gas splashed on you...if no gas then you need to figher out if its you relay or fue pump.. 60 percent of the time it will be the relay witch is located under the hood on the drivers side far in the back...some times you can tap on the relay and the motor will start up. even though it will you still need to be replaced.. Hope this helps you out GOOD luck??
