Hi, from what you are describing, you should check the electric ignition switch , this a comon problem when the switch gets bad,( I hope this helps)

My first suggestion is to look for bad grounds from the motor to chassi and battery to engine and chassi .Also check for bad + wire damage .Look for melted wires and replace
