Question about Mitsubishi Montero
The behaviour of the car is a clear indication of turbo pressure failure and the error codes support that:
CAN COMM = communication error in the sensor network.
VGT CONT. PRS. = the solenoid that controls the turbo's pressure is faulty or the pipes that connect to it are shot
EGR POS. SNSR = the vacuum sensor is defective.
Check all the air pipes for leaks - replace if necessary. The replace the vacuum sensor and control solenoids, located on top of the engine, drivers side between bulkhead and inlet manifold.

The throttle position sensor works fine as far as I can tell by your problems description
I would have the engines computer checked out for that sounds where the problem is
