SOURCE: How to remove trim from rear hatch door on 2001 Sienna

You need to remove the big plastic or vinyl rear hatch trim to get the side trims off. Remove the 10 mm bolt that holds the pull handle (if you have a pull handle), and then, using a flat tool, (like a stiff putty knife), insert the tool between the vinyl trim and the tailgate to loosen the plastic clips (there is like 18 of them); one the hatch panel is off, you will see that you can now remove the side trims.

SOURCE: can the plastic window in a 2001 Porsche Boxter be

Well of course the top is in excellent condition.

The plastic fades and uv rays killed it. Porsche hasn't figured out how to sew glass in there so they make you buy the whole assembly.

U think you bought toyota or honda didn't you. wait till the window actuator fails.

a lot more money!

I have a 2001 porsche boxster but the cup holders wont stay in. I push them and they pop right back out its driving me crazy because I cant see my stereo any help

Unfortunately, the little plastic mechanism broke more than likely. Try using a little WD 40 where it slides in and if this does noy work, it's off to Porsche to buy a new one. If cost in an issue, call Silverstar Porsche/Mercedes recycling in Fresno, CA.. I've purchsed stuff through them professionally and always been treated right; 1 (866) 307-7300 They carry all the late model stuff as well, and can usually find what you need and ship it to you.

I have dirty headlight covers and want to remove them to see if they can be cleaned. I have a 2001 Impala

Novus products worked for me. There are three strengths. No. 1 is a general
spray cleaner. No. 2 is a fine scratch remover that requires some elbow grease.
I find rinsing it as I work it in helps speed up the process. The yellowing and
small scratches are caused by ozone and sand blowing in the air. This product
won't make it factory new but it will give a much better cleaning than any other
product I've found. I've saved many friend's the expense of changing their
headlights.
Don't use windex or dishsoap on headlight plastic. They have ammonia in them
and causes microsopic pitting and fractures in clear plastic.
I bought my Novus products on line, saved gas running around trying to find it.

2001 porsche boxter engine running hot

My 2000 Boxster developed a pin hole leak in the coolant reserve tank in the rear trunk. The trunk floor is actually raised, which allowed the coolant to go unnoticed, since the carpet never got wet. I would pull back the carpet on the side and see if there is coolant in the trunk area. If so, the plastic reserve tank will run you about $300 for the part. It is a bit of a pain to replace, but something the average home mechanic can do. Only real hassle was the hose clamps in the engine bay were installed before the engine, hence the engine was in the way of the screw head.
