The fuel useage your car may experiences is affected by many conditions, such as type of driving (city vs highway, general condition of the engine, age of vehicle, etc. Do you have a specific problem to solve?

2001 landcruiser unable to fll fuel - fuel nozzle automatically cuts off

check that the air hose from the tank to the top of the filler pipe is not squashed or crimped by something like a zip tie. This hose allows the air in the tank that is being displaced by incoming fuel to vent at the top of the filler tube and not past the filler nozzle thereby switching it off.

How to compute kilometers per litre

You would fill up the vehicle, then divide the mileage traveled by the amount of fuel it took to fill the tank again.
So assuming you filled the tank each time, you would divide 609km by 100.4 ltr which is .1648 or 16.49 L/100km
Thats about 40 mpg.

VW Polo Classic, fuel efficiency problem

Has the car been serviced recently?
If not I would suggest getting it done. Not sure if you have diesel or petrol, but oil can thicken causing more load on the motor and airfilters get blocked and can cause a rich fuel mixture.

If petrol you can take out the plugs to check if they are a light brown colour, if very dark or black you need to check and adjust carb/injection settings/filter.Need to know what engine it is really.
