2000 Lincoln Ls v8 Trottle Hesitation and No Power. When you step on the gas in nuetral it hesitats like there is a ristriction. I took the exhaust right off the car and it still has a hesitation like there is a bannana stuck in the tail pipe. I changed and gapped the plugs and the ones that came out were not fouled out and looked normal. And the valve covers are not leaking oil into the coil packs. I took the wires off of all the coils one at a time and the engine did not respond any different. I found a mouse nest near the front off the intake and there is a plastic bag that looks like it has air in it and is blown up under the ram what is that? Also when you shut off the motor you can hear air hiss out under the hood near the back of the motor for a second or two. I took the vaccuum line off the brake power booster and air escaped. And I put a vacuum tester on one of the air lines and it was just making the green in were it says GOOD MOTOR. When I went to put it on the car ramps it barely made it up the ramps and seemed like it was getting worse once it warmed up. Could I have a head gasket, EGR valve, trottle body or a fuel injector problem? How can I check for a headgasket issue? Do I put a pressure test on the coolant? Or maybe the mouse was the cause he chewed, pissed or nested on something that would cause this? I'm going to change the fuel filter and double check the air intake on it tommorrow for kicks. Any help will be appreciated thanks.

On either V6 or V8 Lincoln LS
Both O2 Sensors are in the exhaust converters
Bank #1 is on the right or passenger side, where cylinder #1 is
Both engines have dual exhaust
there are diagrams try looking at the book that came with the car or look under the hood for it some where near the front, if this dosnt work try going to a website or autozone and buy the book for the car
Try taking the exhaust pipe loose at the manifold. I had a Chevy Suburban that acted the same way, it turned out to plugged catyletic converter. The converter wasn't letting the exhaust out, the truck had no power, it would stall and then start right up and great for about five seconds the run rough and quit. Once I disconnected the exhaust it started right up and ran great. You could also try taking the O2 sensors out (for test purposes) ahead of the converter that will give the exhaust a place to go
