I have a 1998 Dodge Dakota 3.9 with a 5 speed. I am having difficulties with the clutch and am trying to figure out if it is the clutch needing replaced or if it is the hydraulics.

Bad hydraulics (leaking/spongy) and worn out clutch have opposite symptoms. If the clutch does NOT ENGAGE - get the vehicle moving - you probably need to replace the clutch and/or pressure plate.
If the clutch does NOT DISENGAGE - you can't get the transmission into gear, or there is difficulty or grinding when trying to shift between gears - your hydraulic system is not moving the clutch release arm far enough to disengage the clutch.

My clutch will not engage.

First make sure that the problem is the clutch not engaging instead of not releasing The slave cylinder only releases the clutch Put the car in any gear and try to move it if it won't roll easily the clutch is engaged If this is the case you probably need to bleed the air out of the line between the clutch master and slave cylinders

My clutch wont go into any gear unless i force it.. And it grinds on going in reverse. is it the master/slave cylinder the problem. or the clutch? please help!!!

Hopefully you got a warranty with the clutch job, so I would take it back to that shop first. If you have someone else work on the truck the first shop is off the hook for responsibility. Its possible the clutch has failed, or you have developed a new problem.

Manual transmission will not disenage the clutch?

If you have a hydraulic clutch (slave cylinder to clutch fork) try bleeding it.
if it leaks you will have to replace it> If it is a manual clutch fork and the clutch starts to grab right off the floor the clutch is woen and will have to be replaced. You might also check the clutch rod for adjustment > in either case make sure the clutch rod is seated in the clutch fork.

My a/c clutch wont kick on got pressure and good voltage what else could be the problem

If you have the proper amount of freon in it and there is voltage at the clutch and the clutch is still not engaging then the problem is in the clutch itself you will need to either adjust the clutch or replace it I would try adjustment first then if that doesnt work then replace the clutch.I hope this helps you.

Replaced whole clutch and slave cylinder on 1996 Toyota T100 2wd 2mos. ago. Today while driving the clutch hit the floor. I did'nt see any fluid leakage. Any ideas.

Sounds like you need to bleed the system again, or you have an air leak. try bleeding again and just check your fittings for tightness.

You will either have to make an adjustment on the clutch or replace the clutch and pressure plate to correct the problem. If you take it to a garage be sure to have the flywheel turned as well and replace the pilot bearing. Try the clutch linkage adjustment first and if it does not get rid of the problem you will need to replace the clutch and pressure plate. Hope this will help you.

Chevy l989 4X4 5 speed manual clutch not working

Almost every time a clutch is replaced in a GM with hydraulic release system that system is replaced as well. You can try, and try, and try again to bleed it, but you will eventually replace the clutch slave and master cylinders. Once the slave is allowed to fully extend, it is then virtually impossible to make it function correctly again.

Trying to figure out how to adjust the clutch on a 2005 Toyota Corolla style s

You car does not have an "adjustable" clutch. The Corolla uses a hydraulic clutch. The action of the hydraulics eliminates the need for adjustements. If the clutch is slipping, you may need to replace the clutch.
