I Have A 96 Toyota Avalon xl 3.0 Car Starts And Dies!! Replaced Fuel Pump Fuesl Filter And Still Starts And Stops?

I'm not 100% clear on exactly what isn't working from your question other than now the car is starting and dying after changing the fuel pump. In that case it's possible you've oppositely attached the positive and negative wires to the fuel pump. Hope this might solve part of your problems.

Why doesn't it start?

Is your fuel pump working? Any possibility that when yoo worked on car the circuit for the fuel pump was disconnected? Is your fuel rail pressurized? Have spark? Crankcase sensor working?

98 gmc savana 350 v8 was running then sputtered would not go turned off now wont start i checked and replaced fuel filter still no luck it will start with starting fluid but wont stay running

sounds like a fuel problem. could be a fuel shut off switch, fuel pump relay, fuel pump. Possible bad electrical plug connection to pump

I have a 1997 toyota avalon i just bought, and this morning went out to start it and it would turn over but would not start until i massed gas pedal to floor

you may be experiencing a pluged fuel filter or a fuel pump going bad turn your car on but dont start you should be able to hear your fuel pump it will run for 5 sec if you here this and still no start there might be a leak in the oring on the pump it does break down and allows air in the system and will crank over and over till it has pressure built up if it still has the problem have a tech check to make sure the TPS is still good its a good idea to run a good injector
cleaner through it and clean the trottle body also good lick
