Normally if the car is not turning over at all.... Its either the starter, or the anti theft security system. Here is a link that tells about the security. Info, symptoms, and some DO IT YOURSELF solutions.

Pontiac grand am se 2002 won't turn over and

my pontiac did the same thing and all i had to do was replace the 40amp fuse. you can have someone turning the key while you hit the starter from underneath, if it starts then you need a new starter, if it dont then no, its something else. mine did the exact same thing and it was the 40amp fuse under the hod.

I have a 2002 pontiac grand am and there is a constant clicking coming from the hazard switch. I just replaced the switch, part number, old one 22624799 with a new one ac delco part number 10359039. it is...

You have a bad multifunction switch ie. turn signal switch. poor design. easy to replace.
remove the cover off the steering column- three or four screws from bottom
two or three screws hold the turn signal switch, plus two plugs
when installing watch to make sure you get the horn button pushed back in the switch, as not to bend anything.
Good luck

AC/Heater on 2002 Grand AM SE1 will only work on one speed

chk. to see if you got a heater resister, it should be somewhere in the visinty of the blower motor 2 screws hold it in the heater box and it will have 4 or 5 wires in a plug going to it. samething happend with my truck and thats what it was. i also found out sometimes that plug with the wires to the resister burn, if thats the case you will have to chg. that too.
