If you get specific about serious wire chasing I will
look things up for you.

Most cars have a voltage regulator behind the dashboard that supplies a stable voltage for the gauges. Have a look, if you follow the wires from the gauges you will probably find one wire from each gauge going to a small regulator box. If you cant get a new one an electronic technician can build one for you.

unrelated:

odometer issue hits all saturns 91-95 eventually, they sell kits on ebay to fix it but you will have to pull the cluster, take it apart and reassemble it. not worth it on a 500 dollar car.

fuel gauge you need a new sender unit, sits in the gas tank with the fuel pump, replace both when you go to that much trouble to drop the gas tank out to get to it.

horn sits under the driver's headlight. jumper the battery to it and if it works then your problem lies with the relay, or more likely the horn switch inside the steering wheel. if it does not work with jumper then you can buy a generic horn at a parts store.

There is no such thing on a 1993 Dakota. Let me know what kind of problem you are having and maybe I can help you.

I would need a little more info. Like did the gauge act up before it stopped working? If so, it's probably your sending unit.

it sounds like the gauge float assembly in the top of the tank has gone bad. But before you change it I would look at all of your electrical connections and make sure that they all are properly grounded for that circuit.

check to make sure the wires are all connected at the sending unit,check to make sure you have a good ground.
