SOURCE: thermostat sticks

well it depends on your mechanical abilities on the difficulty scale i wouldnt consider it to hard it is under the throttle body you can get to it with out taking that off but trust me you want to take it off and if i were you replace the sensor as well your right there mine went about 2000 miles later its cheap or just follow the line that comes off your radiator on the drivers side it is in the aluminum housing right at the end of that line that bolts to the block

SOURCE: How do I replace broken 2002 buick century passenger side mirror?

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door

SOURCE: 2002 Buick Century ABS and traction control

I have a 2002 Buick Century. The ABS light came on intermittantly. At first it was only around some turns, then eventually it was on most of the time. In addition the actual ABS brakes pumped which was annoying.

I jacked up my car, took off the front wheel, and found an exposed wire on the hire harness. The wire was encased in a black piece of plastic which was supposed to protect it. You can peel back the plastic to look at the wires inside. The exposed wire was interferring with the signal being sent from the speed sensor.

Wrapping the wire and the entire wire harness in black electrical tape solved the problem. Not sure if my fix is going to last too long, but it definately solved the problem.

Where is a ecu air bag module located on a 2002 buick century

Without looking it up, I'd say it's under the center console, usually. If not equipped with a center console, should be under the middle area of the dash, mounted to the floor either way.

2002 century, Hvac dash control module fan only works on high. Do I need to replace the module and how hard is it.

You may not have to. If the blower resistor is near the blower motor that should be tested first(cheaper part too). Sometimes they go and the result is a one speed or no speed fan.

ABS, TRAC OFF, SERVICE VEHICLE SOON LIGHTS ARE ON. BRAKE PEDAL PULSATES INTERMITTENLY AND MAKES NOISE.

with these lights on then you will have to see what codes are in the abs and pcm module to find out what the problems are.the abs module will activate when the traction control lights come on.this can also cause a noise and pulsate in the brakes pedal.

Brake problems with 2002 buick century , abs , trac control , service engine lights come on when braking at low speeds (5-10 mph)

You most likely have a bad wheel speed sensor. The first thing to do is inspect the wires coming down to the front wheel speed sensors and check for any obvious damage (this is VERY common). If you don't see anything that looks obviously damaged or broken, then you will have to scan your Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and your Antilock Brake System Module (ABS) for fault codes that will lead you to the cause of the problem.
