Fuel pump blowing fuses

no.

but its a short. non the less.
the solution to this oddity is called an AMP meter, or Ammeter
you can find shorts with one, by finding which branch on the tree is shorted.
what fuse. we cant guess that
and use a real schematic to find the path.

need a video.? we can show one.

has your truck sat for very long with out being driven-this sounds to me like you have had a mouse chewing wires and or nesting in your head liner-that is why dome fuse keeps blowing-pull your headliner down and check for shorted wires-Replacing fuses will not fix the problem Cheers Denny

Do you have an after-market stereo installed, if so then you could have a wire touching ground. If not then you have a component shorting out.

This could be a component or a wiring fault. It is easier to check the components so:-

1)Remove lamp and insert new fuse.

If fuse goes again, disconnect stereo, replace lamp and fuse.

If fuse does not blow the dump stereo.

If fuse goes again, trace the wiring and

If it still blows, then the stereo is likely to be faulty
