If i knew what a lug wrench was then that would help ,a lug is a worm used for fishing so would a lug wrench be used for pulling them out of the mud in which they live by any chance??if no wheel brace or wheel nut bar then try the local auto factor for one of them extending ones made in china as they are plenty heavy enough to do the job now where your original one is in the car they are normally under the spare wheel in the boot .(trunk)

Cant find the tire wrench

Usually they are a multipurpose design. If i remember correctly from my previous m vehicles the back end of the lug wrench is used to operate jack. If they are missing best bet go to Auto parts stoe and buy a compact jack and tire iron set.

Step by step removing and replacing the spair

Hi my name is Tom and I am here to help you.

By changing the spare tire, I am going to assume that you mean changing a flat tire using the spare tire. If I am mistaken please advise.

Locate the area where the spare tire and jack are located. You should see a lug wrench. This would be a X shaped device with closed sockets. Find the correct lug size needed for the Caravan. Loosen the lugs by turning the wrench counter clock wise. A little reminder is (lefty loosey, righty tightey)

After the lugs are loose, jack the car up using the jack provided. Near each wheel is notches which show you where to place the jack. Do not jack any further then you need to lift the car up. Keep in mind that an inflated tire is larger than a deflated.

Remove all the lug nuts and replace the flat tire with a good one. Put the lugs back on and hand tighten.
Lower the car and tighten the lug nuts firmly.

The only thing I believe I left out was removing the wheel covers. You should find in a packet with the jack a device to unlock the wheel cover. I can not tell you what it is because each car is unique.

I trust this is detailed enough for you. If not, please feel free to contact me and I will answer any questions you might have.

Please take the time to rank the information I gave you and how helpful it was. This will help me to do a better job for you and other to follow.

Flat tire

your owners manual is a valuable source of information, but if you do not have it here is what you do: the vehicle should be on a flat hard surface then you need to locate your jack and lug wrench , with the vehicle still on the groung loosen each lug nut about one turn then make sure that your emergency break is on, place the jack under the vehicle in an appropreate spot to raise the wheel off the groung, once the wheel is off the ground you can remove the lug nuts and pull the wheel off. Then you can put the spare tire on and replace the lug nuts tighten them in a criss cross patern as tight as you can get them then lower the vehicle back to the ground and check the lugs again. I hope this helps, good luck !!

Cant change my tyre

Put a longer pipe to the tire wrench, those air guns do wonders, then you are stuck in the road, because you can't undo the lugs.
SuggesT you keep a 2 - 3 FT pipe in the trunk that fits over the lug wrench handle. If you have time loosen them all and tighten them with the wrench only. Can't figure out why the heck those places put the lugs on so tight. (money of course) Can't change the tire, time to call for help AAA or the local joe who is going to charge you for coming out there. If you are female, call the state troopers for assistance.
