Question about 2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport
Check the 100 amp fuse. its the one bolted in. It will be hard to see but that will blow if the battery is connected backwards

Once you replace all the fuses under the hood and it doesn't start, try replacing the iginition power transistor. It cost around 200 and is right in front of the motor. It is very easy to do your self. Only a couple of bolts.

Look For Blow Fuse LInks they are usually on the Positive Battery Terminal or in the fuse box(s)
