My 2000 Chevy Venture fans are not turning on. Neither the a/c or the radiator fan. However you can manually turn the fans. So there not seized up. Help!

This may bye an issue with the coolant temp sensor.Try unplugging the sensor and the fans should come. The sensor is located towards the front of the engine on the drivers side by the upper radiator hose.

Coolant fans are not running. unplugged coolant

Check out coolant temp sensor ,its wiring and condition of coolant all together they control that circuit.
Then make sure ECU is getting Temp sensor signal and is sending it to the relay accordingly. ( which in your case is probably not the problem because the fans went on when you removed and accidently grounded coolant sensor wiring) Only one thing left Good luck

Location of engine coolant temperature sensor on chevy venture 98

It is a 2 wire seneor under the throttle body. You will have to remove the air breather and it will be a brass/black plastic sensor. A 3/4 socket will fit it.Good Luck
