Question about Hyundai Tucson

1 Answer

Hi, I have a 2006 Hyundai Tucson. I love my Tucson except for one thing, it keeps blowing headlights. I have never had this issue with any other vehicle. I see that it seems to be a common issue with Hyundai's. Is there a solution to fix this?

Have your voltage checked. This is usually done with an alternator test at a local autoparts store. If that checks out look closely at the mounts for the headlight and make sure its not loose. Vibration can cause bulbs to blow. Make sure there is no moisture in the lens. Water will cause it to blow.. Lastly when you replace the bulb do not touch the glass. The oil from your skin will cause it to blow early.

It's a good idea. The filter keeps particles from the clutch plates from entering the valve body. The damaged valve body is expensive.
