Question about 2004 GMC Envoy
The dash guages & PRNDL indicator are out. The check engine light is not on. They did this once before, but came back. Now they have been out a few days.
The gauges are available for as little as $3 each on eBay. Replacing them will require the removal of the dash cluster and desoldering / soldering skills. Seach the phrase "GMC stepper motor" (without the quotes) on eBay to find them.
Also, http://forums.trailvoy.com/showthread.php?t=48886 has a write up on this very issue. You will need a free account to see (and post if desired) the discussion.
I hope this helps!

Try resetting the computer, by removing the positive battery cable for 10 mins, if this does not work, then you more than likely have a computer problem, as crazy as it sounds, your computer makes those work.
