My first thought is the starter motor brushes are worn out or the armature is burnt out ,i would advise you ask a local mechanic to take a look for you ,if the solonoid is clicking then this is most likely your problem

1990 HONDA ACCORD WON'T TURN OVER TO START BUT IT WILL ROLL START. I HAVE CHANGED THE ALTERNATOR AND TESTED THE IGNITION SWITCH STARTER RELAY SEEMS FINE CLUTCH SWITCH SEEMS FINE MAIN RELAY IS FINE

About the only thing you didn't mention was the starter itself. You could have it tested. But before that, try to see if you have power on the small wire to starter solenoid on the starter, when key is held in cranking position. Pull the small wire off and check for power with a multimeter or a testlight while someone holds the key in crank. This is the signal wire from ignition switch that closes the elec. contacts inside solenoid so the starter gets full power from the battery to spin. (This wire also is in the circuit with the clutch switch and the starter relay.) If you have power on this wire in crank, it is very likely the starter is bad. If there is no power, check that circuit out. It is losing power somewhere from switch to starter solenoid. Good luck.

1992 mercedes 300e cranks over starts for a second then die

Could be a number of things. Start with the fuel pump relay. When your key is in the start/crank pos. it overides the relay as soon as you release the key to run possition the relay has to stay ingaged or the fuel pump will shut off. Also look in your owners manuel for impact or emergency fuel shut off switch reset.

I have a 1990 300e mercedes that will start but will only run for a few seconds then die? Does anyone have any suggestions on what it might be?

I don't know much about Mercedes, but that is exactly what most other vehicles will do when the MAF(mass air flow sensor) is faulty. It's always a good idea to find one at an auto wrecker, and try it. Or the fuel filter clogged? Hope this helps.

I have a 1991 300e merecedes and i drove it all week no problem now i cannot get the key to turn in the ignition i tried moving the steering wheel jiggling the shifter and moving the key around even...

when locksets start wearing out sometimes the key will only start the car with a certain side up. also you can try tapping the key when it is in and see if that works. It's probably time for a new lockset and key

No, I would say your starter may be going out. Also tune up (coils especially) should be done before any real troubleshooting.
