Question about Volkswagen Polo
The lock shaft pins normally brakes on that models,ur going to need to remove the part where the key goes in.open the door and u will find a black gromet on the lock side of door just ocross the key part under it is a screw that needs to be loosend but do not remove screw just loosen and then key part can be pulled out,then u must inspect wat broke.hope this helps

Before you replace anything, inspect the connector pins in both the driver's door switch and the passenger door switch. If you don't find any problem with these connector pins, replace the driver's door control switch.
