That sounds to me like you need a new cv joint turn the wheel all the way and lock it
in place and look at the rubber seal of the axle its on the in side of the wheel if the
rubber is riped or has holes in it it really needs replacement check both sides

some cv joints come with just the joint
others come with the hole axle

hope this helps you

It's either a ball joint, or a tire rod end.

SOURCE: knock-knock-knock front end of drivers side only under power and hard right turns only not left. but it comes and goes away? help

Sounds like your outer CV joint on the drivers side is worn. If so not really a DIY job. When shaft is removed you will loose g/box oil. plus hub has to be partially removed. Then the joint removed from shaft. Big job. would recommend going to see your local CV shaft shop.

My Dodge Grand Caravan is making a humming noise as you accelerate, while turning left it stops but gets worse while turning right. I replaced the left front wheel hub and no improvement, I need help

if hub bearing replacement did not fix the noise

when noises are on left and right turns
that has CV joints /drive shafts
would say they are the issue
replace both sides

and replace the left hand hub bearing at the same time

CV joint - wheel side needs to be replaced :) right wheel, a lot of people drive like that for a while before they fix it so don't worry, also it shouldn't be soooo expensive

Knocking when i turn right, was told it was cv joint, so changed right handside as thats the side all the noise comes from, but still not stopped knocking. have i changed the wrong side, or is it something...

yes you changed the wrong side if it knocks when you turn right its the left side because turning right shifts all the wait on the left side and puts a load on the joint causing it to knock
