Question about 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Coolant light keeps coming on every couple of weeks and the resivour is empty. I fill it up and it drains again, but have no idea of where it is going. New radiator a year ago, new thermostat and radiator cap a month ago and STILL loosing coolant somewhere.

You need to check every possible place coolant can escape, including the head/block parting lines. (leaks from there often evaporate before reaching the ground) 4.0 heads can develop micro-cracks internally. if you have that engine, be aware of that. Don't forget to check the passenger side floor. If it's damp or wet, the heater core is leaking.
If you cannot locate the leak, have a good shop check it out. Though expensive, it's still cheaper than an engine replacement!
"blind repair" is to use a block sealer and hope for the best.

If there is a puddle in youre driveway than it's either a hose or a gasket, if there is nothing on the ground than its either being burnt inside the engine or being added to youre oil, it's probably a head gasket, open youre oil cap and see if there is a white creamy residue, if so than its being mixed with youre engine oil. If so DO NOT DRIVE IT, it will cause serious damage to you're engines internal components. Also check the level of you're engine oil, if it is alot higher than it is suppost to be, than that is youre problem.

Usually coolant have special markers which shine in UV light, so you can take an uv lamp and check for leaks.
Also check oil level and color (it shouldn't be white, if so coolant - runs into oil, serious repair needed)
Also their should be no white smoke (more or less) from exhaust pipe.. if there is - the gasket is damaged and repair is needed.

In conclusion - there are three ways to loose coolant: leakage, leakage to oil, leakage to combustion chamber.

Car keeps boiling tru resivour at side. all coolant boiled outta it found out it was a broken radiator cap. got new cap what coolant do i put back in and how much

Get the green stuff and mix it 50/50 with clean water. With the vehicle cool fill up the radiator until it is full and then fill the overflow tank up to the cold fill level. Start the car and take it for a spin making sure to get it up to operating temp, let it cool and then see where your level is on the overflo tank. Fill up to the hot mark and then repeat a couple times and you should be good.

2000 Ford Taurus. Would fill up with gas when close to empty or light come on. Then a couple weeks ago,gas gauge was on 1/4 tank then went a little lower and engine started bucking. Then light came on. ...

change the fuel filter for one, this is telling you that your pick up in the tank is getting clogged, I would drop my tank, and drain it, flush it, and check the pump at that time

Yes it is normal just no hot air

1. When setting the temperature to MAX, blower level to FULL and outside air Vent CLOSED, no hot air comes out after 2-5 minutes?
If YES, when did you last flushed your radiator and is it full?
2. if more than 5 years ago, flush radiator system, instructions are usually in Owners manual. Use a bottle of Radiator cleaner, run egine hot for about 10-15 minutes, carefully open petcock in bottom of radiator to flush out radiator, WARNING, careful as flushed coolant would be boiling hot. As sson petcock is open and water start to flow out, carefully open radiator cap to enhance flushing flow. Use garden hose to fill radiator while flushing until water coming out from petcock is cold and clear.
Once clear, start engine, turn heter full and blower full blast and keep hose in radiator flowing full, leave petcock open until clear water flows out again. Once clear waters comes out, turn off engine, turn off garden hose and let water drain empty radiator. Once it stops flowing out, close petcock snug and put radiator cap on, pull off radiator coolant catch bottle, clean bottle for any debris and dirt. Drain any water, leave bottle empty and put it back onto its place.
3. Fill radiator with 1 gallon (4L) of concentrated coolant, top up radiator until full, fill catch bottle with concentrated coolant, start engine and keep it overflowing until no bubbles comes out and the radiator is fully hot. Once it is flowing good, close and connect everything. Drive with it and keep catch bottle filled as necessarry.
Good luck. Give as vote and good comment if this advise solve youor problem. Thank you.

Check coolant light on

Probably just need to add some coolant. make sure you use the correct amount of antifreeze with the cold weather coming up. and be sure the radiator is colled down before you open it. make sure to fill your resivour up to the full mark also.

2000 Toyota Celica coolant reservior empty

I hate to tell you this but its possible...

You have a leak. Look around on the driveway and try to determine if you have an external leak as opposed to an internal leak. If you see no coolant on the ground, suspect a blown head gasket. Do not continue to drive this car in this condition. If it does indeed have a blown head gasket, serious engine damage will occur.

Check your exhaust for white smoke. Chances are good you have a blown head gasket and coolant is leaking into the engines combustion chambers and is essentially burning off. Also check your oil, if it looks like caf mocha, this will confirm coolant is leaking into the oil via the blown head gasket
