You can put anything into anything if you try hard enough. On a 20+ year old car, chances are that someone may have swapped engines. What you need to do is go over it system by system 'till you find what isn't working. It did run before it gave you a problem?

It sounds like you have either no engine oil, a massive vaccum line leak, or the harmonic balancer is gone on you're engine. Check you're Engine Oil to make sure it is at it's proper level, start the vehicle and listen for a hissing noise with the hood up for the vaccum leak and finally take you're vehicle to a mechanic to check you're harmonic balancer. if you are still having issues please feel free to e-mail me directly at

I got a 95 Buick regal custom 3.8 v6 which vacuum hose do I put the sea foam liquid in

I never use that stuff, but you can put it in the purge valve or map sensor port or even the port for the hvac control system. Just dont use the brake booster port, or the engine will die.

@006 lucerne I'm driving down the highway at 70mph and the fuel cuts out until I drop to around 50mph and then it kicks back in. Any thoughts

Are you sure it was a fuel problem? Speed sensors, Throttle position sensor, cam and crank sensors, tepmerature sensors, map sensor all contribute signals to the engine control module so it will operate the engine in the most effective way . The best thing to do is to have a diagnostic test done on it to find which components are causing the symtoms.

2001 buick lesabre would not start, mechanic said bad MAP sensor and water in fuel drained and replaced fuel, and new MAP installed. Car died again on way home from garage. Mechanic said bad Fuel Filter...

This is the piecemeal approach to automotive maintenance. Take your Buick to a competent mechanic to have stored codes retrieved which will identify probable causes for the problems you are experiencing.
