WITH OBD SCANNERS THEY WORK THRU THE CARS COMPUTER AND WILL NOT WORK ON SOME OF THE OTHER AREAS OF THE VEHICAL, YOUR CODE 0P000 IS SHOWING
THE POWER TRAIN PARTS OF THE VEHICAL WHICH COULD BE THE TRANSMISSION.
YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE THE VEHICAL TO A DEALER FOR A TRUE SCAN. I HAVE AN
OBD II SCANNER ALSO AND THIS IS ONE OF THE DOWN FALLS TO THE SCANNERS

Why does trouble light keeps coming on.

go back to the dealer and demand that he use the fault codes to diagnose the problem or get your money back. Either that or go to an auto spares shop that runs fault codes for free
Point-- vehicles have fault codes recorded and are readable with a scanner . Any mechanic that doesn't use a scanner but guesses should be avoided at all costs.

2007 chevy impala codes coming up are 7e8 and 7ea. what do i look for

Seems to be a scanner component ID, not the OBD2 fault code.
You need to learn to use the scanner and interpret the readings (usually the scanner manual contains the meanings to these codes)

Otherwise you need to take the car to an independent service with Chevrolet specific scan tools or a Chevrolet dealer, for proper diagnostics.

The car keeps shutting off while being in motion and it jeck when you press the accelerator please help me figure this problem out GOD BLESS!!!!

is there a check engine light on!! if so have it scanned. any auto parts store will scan for free. if crank sensor is bad it will die while driving cause this sensor controls the timing. have it scanned. if no codes come up, you can hook a scanner to vehicle and drive it, and have a friend record the codes if they come up. have a good one!

Data Link

the no connect fault indicates that you have a ecm issue, however the check engine light will come on if your fluids are low(coolant, oil) if your vehicle was driving fine except for the light coming on chances are there will be no codes and i would check the fluids. Incidently not all code scanners work the same way on all vehicles. On mine which is the kind all major dealerships use you have to have key cards that send a certain signal through the data link. this card is mad for a ceratin kind of vehicle. This could be the reason your friends scanner did not work on the vehicle. keep me posted with the result of the fluid check. I would also check the connection of the oil sending unit and or the coolant temp sensor lead this will cause the light to come on as well. please rate this... thanks
