I'm assuming that, as you've posted a car listing, its the rear window on a car or truck.

The easiest way is, have you got windscreen protection on your insurance ? if so, it doesn't mean just the front screen. All windows should be covered, check it out.

If not, I would imagine the cheapest way to replace would be to source a good second hand replacement from a breakers yard and fit it yourself or a friend or a good mechanic.

Install new glass in rear passenger doors

I'm not familiar with that particular car but I'll tell you what I know about rear door glass. On most cars you have to remove the door trim and handles, then strip the window rubbers / flock trim from the door/window frame. There will be various screws hold the guides and winder or motor in place. Remove the quarter light frame if it has one. The door glass guide rails and then enter the glass through the top of the door, tilting it accordingly. When you have the glass inside the door assy, get an assistant to take the weight of the glass while you reassemble the glass guides etc in the reverse order. Be patient because its a fiddly job rather than difficult.

Rear Drive Shaft Keeps Busting The Center Support Bearing

Check the u-joints in the drive shaft. Are they binding up? Work the u-joints around by hand with the driveshaft out. They should turn smoothly and uniformly-any looseness or stiffness in any portion of travel is a bad u-joint. Not sure if u-joints on Nissans can be replaced, or if you have to buy a new or used driveshaft with the u-joints. At one time u-joints were not replaceable, but some aftermarket suppliers were trying to change that. You would have to check at a parts store.
Check the frame piece that the carrier bearing and bracket sits on. Is it still straight and true? Not bent from being hit from underneath (like running over a large boulder)?
Is the bearing still good? What is getting busted, the bearing itself, or the rubber insulator ring, or the metal bracket that holds it all in place? Unless there is a problem in the rear differential (like locking up), it is likely a mis-alignment of the bracket or frame it sits on, or a seriously bad u-joint, or a seriously bent drive shaft.

How do i replace rear passenger window

Did they break the larger window? or the smaller one?
The larger one is the easy one, remove the door panel, adjust the window mechanism until you can see the bolts on the bottom window track, undo these bolts and remove the old track, To fit the new window it's simply a matter of removing the side window guide rail and sliding the window in on an angle and wiggle it around until you get it inside the door, the seat it in the rail and replace the guide rail. Then bolt the window to the mechanism and re-assemble the door panel.

If it's the smaller one you need to remove the larger window first then remove the frame between the smaller and larger piece of glass, You can then replace the glass.

I would suggest calling around and you may get a good price for an expert to replace it as it is a pain to do.

I busted out the rear passenger window of my 2005 dodge caravan while mowing. I can get one at a salvage yard, but the window is one you can push open and I need help on how to install the used window? ...

I belive you might have to remove some of the outside trim to remove the window, call a bone yard and get the window, you will see how it is attached, I think there are 3-4 screws that hold it on the frame.

Mazda MPV: how to raise power window manually?

I just had this problem with my driver door window. I took the door panel off and discovered that the motor was burnt out by testing with a meter.

I called around and found a motor at a junkyard for $135 dollars! I didn't bother looking at the price for a new one yet. Budget is very tight right now.

Like you I just wanted a way to get the window up until I could get around to replacing the part.

You can find out what I did with pictures here.

This is for the front driver side window. I did the same for the rear passenger side window and the steps are fairly similar.

There are few less steps to getting the panel off, but it was a little trickier to get the panel back on. (The key was to pull the bottom out and start at the front: Lower the forward part of the panel over the top of the frame first - while pushing firmly at the top of the panel).

The steps for disengaging the motor and raising the window with the motor re-engaged are almost the same. The only differences are that the motor is in a different position in the frame. It's down near the bottom of the frame - and seemingly inaccessible at first glance.

However, if you disconnect the motor from the frame and let it dangle on the regulator wires, you can pull it all the way through to the other port in the frame. That way, it turns out that, it was even easier to work with than the driver window motor.

Hope this helps.

Rear window is off track

Its a little time consuming, pretty straight forward. I would send the job out to a body shop . They do this in there sleep and if after you remove the door panel you determine that the regulator is rotted or missing parts , your not waiting around for days with a busted window for your parts to come in. Money well spent. especially if your vandalized or it rains( not to mention the glass window will cut you if your not careful.) Also the sheet metal fram arond this window claims skin even from a pro.

Full speaker wiring replacement

Sorry, not a good solution. I'm afraid the price range varies from car stereo shop to stereo shop, and the locale of where your at. There is no way to give you an accurate answer.

I invite you to call around, or stop in various car stereo shops that do this for a living, and see what the best average is.
