Question about 1989 Cadillac Sedan DeVille
That leaves nothing else but the anti theft system. The security system can actually turn your starter off. Since you've put a new ignition on there, (assuming from auto zone or something like that) 14 times out of 15 its the wrong one to match your car. Probably wasnt the problem anyway. Was probably your TDM (theft deterrent module). Your best bet is to bypass the entire system and that car will fire right up. Here is a link all about it with DO IT YOURSELF solutions too. http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurityhelp.yolasite.com/
