Who is the code for honda element 2006

The security code is listed in your owners manual, hidden under the passenger seat. You can also call a Honda Dealer and provide them your VIN# to obtain the code, but you better write it down in a safe, convenient place, because this happens often.

2006 Honda element transmission banging in first when coming to a stop . Auto trans runs out very well

Not good

You could have a trans shop road test

They will tell you it has to be rebuilt, which in a
year or so it will.

I would get several opinions but wouldn't pull the
unit just yet

On the 2004 Element. Do you have to change the timing belt at a particular time ; or does it have a Chain?

Honda element has a Timing Chain, and Honda doesn't even recommending looking at it till something like 110,000 or 120,000 miles.
However, it is this an "interference" engine, meaning that if the chain or belt fails it could destroy the valve train and even the pistons.
Because it is an interference engine. I plan to change my chain at 100K, since I expect the car to go at least 200K but don't expect the chain to last that long.
Normally cars has Tune ups scheduled at 30K, 60, and 90K. As the rule of the thumb at 90K Tune up mechanic shops recommend timing Belt or Chain to be replaced. We can go for longer taking the risk.

Just had a tune up and fuel system cleaning on my 2006 honda element. picked it up from the shop. An hour later went to start it and it was completely dead. I jumped it. it started right up and then died...

without looking at it, One has to wonder if they knocked off wires to altenator, Based soley on your description i gathered the car wouldnt crank? If this is the case? Its not charging for what ever reason, And you should isolate your charging system and or battery as blame.

2006 Honda Element EXP - 40K miles

I have a 2006 Honda Element as well, and mine started making "rubbing" noises when I made a slow hard turn left or right. It had 49K on it. Took it to a dealership and had it looked at. The technician knew what it was right off the bat. The rear differential needed to be serviced. Said the fluid had broken down and needed replacing. $79.00 to fix. CRV have the same problem. Just get it serviced and it should be ok.
