Question about 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee
If it is in the steering wheel check the steering gear box you may be able to adjusted it and kill the play if not .....is bad. or there is like kind of gasket on the steering bar when it get bad or start braking apart this steering play happen.beside all that check for you front end,tierod,balljoints,centerlink etc,good luck
