I have a 2004 Camry SE. The only door I can open with my remote is the driver's door. I have to manually open the other 3 doors manually. Can you tell me what the problem is and how can I corre

This may be a security feature. In some cars only the driver's door can be unlocked with the fob. Once the driver is inside, the other doors can be unlocked individually from the driver's master control panel. In your Toyota, all door lock/unlock functions are controlled by the body ECU

The fuse has gone on my 2004 nissan x trail central locking system can only lock drivers door and with key only .Problem is cant locate the fuse

Your problem is the interior light switch fuse has blown!which also serves the central locking system, located in the fuse box just above the drivers footwell (10amp) (well awkward). Replcace with one of the spare fuses supplied and all should be well. If your interior lights are not working (except boot light) this is a dead giveaway. Good luck.

On driver side and rear side on driver side, both doors will not lock and unlock when use remote key. How can I fix the power lock to lock and unlock?

If the door locks by using the door switch the fault is with the master control unit. So there is a link failure from the master control to the sub units in the door, it can be a break in the wiring harness in the door hinges as this remote trigger can be lost on the driver side and which goes parallel to the rear side.
remove the panel and check the lines, compare to the other side to find the missing line - open wire. You can loop or wire a new connection from the open section.

Remote Transmitter Replacement (Wagon)
Use the following procedure when replacing one or both remote transmitters:
  1. Open the driver's door.
  2. Press and hold the driver's master door lock switch down in the UNLOCK position.
  3. Quickly insert and remove the key from the ignition switch five times, then insert the key the sixth time, and leave it in the ignition switch. (This routine must be done within 1O seconds.) All the doors will lock and unlock to indicate that the control unit is in the program mode.
  4. Press either button on the replacement transmitter. All the doors except the driver's door will lock and unlock to indicate that the control unit has accepted the transmitter into its memory. If either transmitter button is pressed again, all the doors will lock and unlock.
  5. To program a second transmitter, press either button on that transmitter. The doors should lock and unlock as described in step 4.
  6. Release the driver's master door lock switch.
  7. To exit the program mode, close the driver's door or remove the key from the ignition switch.

Door lock problem ..can open but can't lock

If it's only the drive's side door that's doing it, it's for safety purposes so you don't lock your keys in the car. close the door and use your remote to lock or your keys if you don't have your remote. If you already knew this then the lock switch may be faulty.

2004 Civic Drivers door lock

The driver's side door lock button is designed not to lock from the inside unless the handle is pulled, or the power switch is used. This serves as a reminder to not lock your keys inside.

If you are inside, and push down on the button (not the switch) hard enough to lock it, you've probably damaged it.
